Turkish security forces detained 38 people after an attack in the east of the country

In connection with the armed attack, in which two people were killed, the Turkish law enforcement agencies detained 38 people.

This was reported by the agency “Reuters” on Friday, May 15.

According to the media, one of the leaders of the People’s Democratic Party, associated with the Kurds, was also among the detainees.

The attack occurred the day before in the eastern Turkish province of Van, which borders Iran. The targets of the attack were two municipal employees and a civilian. They were returning from the area of the province, which is now closed for quarantine, after giving out aid there.
