“Now it’s my turn.” Trump started taking revenge on RussiaGate

A year has passed since the scandalous “Russian intervention” case collapsed, and now Donald Trump is determined to strike back.

This is stated in the publication of “Politico”.

It is noteworthy that Trump decided to take revenge carefully before the presidential election. Several times last week, he, his family and friends published memes in social networks with the following signature: “I hope you had fun making inquiries about me – now it’s my turn.

Against this background, Attorney General William Barr and Acting Head of National Intelligence Richard Granell have gone further in Trump’s fight with American elites than anyone in the past three years.

Barr, through his former assistant Timothy Shea, was able to close the case against Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn last week.

Meanwhile, Grenell, appointed shortly after the collapse of the recent impeachment case, has declassified a list of Barack Obama administration officials who contributed to Flynn’s resignation. In so doing, he gave Trump the resource for a campaign already called ObamaGate.

Moreover, the president’s allies are exerting increasing pressure on the intelligence community to declassify data that effectively refute the claims that Russia allegedly bet on Trump in 2016.

“The administration is using Grenell as a temporary employee capable of verifying certain things, which the confirmed director will not be able to do as he will need to maintain a working relationship with both sides”, –  explained the former Trump administration employee, adding that Grenell “just has nothing to lose.

Other sources have confirmed that Grenell really intends to leave the post. Presumably, his place will be taken by Bill Evanina, the current director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center.
According to the media, Obama-era officials are nervous and call Trump’s actions “a re-election strategy” in an attempt to draw Joe Biden into another scandal.
