A mercenary detained in Venezuela reported that Guaydo met with the head of Silvercorp in the United States in March

Venezuelan opposition leader meets with Jordan Gudro to discuss details of the armed invasion of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaydo met personally with the head of the U.S. security firm Silvercorp, Jordan Guodro, in Washington to discuss details of the armed invasion of the Bolivarian Republic. This was announced on Tuesday by Antonio Sequea, one of the detained mercenaries who had previously landed in a South American country, and whose interrogation video was broadcast on national television in the Republic.

“In mid-March, when Guaydo was on a trip to the United States, Jordan Gudro <…> told us by telephone that he was at a meeting with Guaydo at the White House and that [Guaydo] saw him as a military adviser for regime change in Venezuela. It gave us confidence and a sense of security because a year ago you saw Jordan [Gudro] with the security services of [U.S.] President Donald Trump” , – Sequea said.

Last Thursday The Washington Post reported that in October 2019 the Venezuelan opposition signed a $213 million contract with the U.S. security firm Silvercorp to overthrow Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

On May 3, Venezuelan authorities announced that they had managed to prevent the infiltration of a group of mercenaries from Colombia, who intended to carry out a coup d’état in the Bolivarian Republic and kill President Nicolas Maduro.

Among the detainees were two American citizens. On State television, President Maduro showed their documents to Luke Alexander Denman and Ayran Berry. The first of them told during the interrogation that together with his accomplices he was to take control of the airport and bring the Venezuelan leader there to take him to the United States.

U.S. President Donald Trump said that Washington had nothing to do with a group of people arrested in Venezuela, and that the U.S. would not hide the fact of the operation against this country if it was planned.
