Chinese experts believe that Washington will not pull “war” on two fronts.
Journalists in the Chinese edition Sohu believe that Washington has a good reason to start getting closer to Moscow. According to Sohu experts, in the near future, China will become the main topic of the American foreign policy agenda. Under these conditions, they stressed, Washington will try to come to terms with Russia in order to use Russian resources to deter Chinese opponents.
“At first glance, there seems to be no reason for reconciliation between the US and Russia today. They are principled competitors who are not going to yield to each other”, – the journalists stressed.- “Refusing to put pressure on Russia will result in that country dramatically increasing its economic and military potential. For the U.S., this will be terrible, because American hegemony will be threatened not only by the Chinese, but also by the Russians.
