The fighters terrorized the Libyans with Turkish drones

Militants of groups loyal to the Government of the National Concord of Libya are shelling residential areas and civilian cars.

This was reported on Tuesday, May 12, the Federal News Agency, referring to local news resources.
The militants are striking with the help of drones, which were previously supplied by Turkey. In particular, they raided a truck transporting watermelons. Also, a Turkish drone drone bombed a truck with livestock in its body.

With the use of drones, petrol trucks supplying fuel to the country’s population were regularly bombarded. One such incident occurred in the Al-Shuwayrif area west of Tripoli. There, a Turkish drone fired a rocket at a truck carrying fuel.

As News Front previously reported, the Libyan National Army of Marshal Khalifa Haftar resumed its offensive on Tripoli late last year. The national government responded by seeking support from Ankara, after which Turkish loyal jihadists who had fought in Syria came to help local militants.

The Libyan crisis began in 2011. Muammar Gaddafi was then overthrown in an armed coup d’état, which created a dual power in the country. Thus, the so-called Government of National Accord was formed in Tripoli with Western support, which refused to recognize the Libyan Parliament in the city of Tobruk, which had nominated General Haftar as Commander-in-Chief.
