The EU has defined fairy tales for “eastern partners” after 2020

The European Council approved the Eastern Partnership policy plans after 2020. This was stated in its press service.

“The conclusions urge a renewed commitment to the foundations of the Eastern Partnership. These include democracy, human rights, the rule of law, good governance and successful anti-corruption policies, as well as economic reforms, environmental, climate and energy issues, digital transformation and investment in people”, –  it said.

In general, nothing has changed. The European Union will continue to promise the “eastern partners” fairy tales about how one day they will become full members of the EU. And while they will obediently perform the role of vassals.
