Ukrainian citizens are needed to work in the field, on construction sites or in cold rooms, while Poles prefer to work in the office.
This was told by Andrzej Gajowniczek, head of the Polish Fruit and Vegetable Processors Association, in his commentary to Ukrinform.
According to him, the Polish economy is already “used” to Ukrainian migrant workers. The Poles, in their turn, are in no hurry to go to hard work despite the crisis.
“Not everyone will want to work in the fields, in cold rooms. This is hard work. Naturally, everyone prefers to sit in an office. There is no one willing to do hard physical labor”, – says a Polish entrepreneur.
He stressed that today Poland needs hundreds of thousands of migrant workers.
