The Turkish Foreign Ministry announced its readiness to return fire at the Libyan National Army (LNA) under the command of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar while continuing attacks on Tripoli.
Recently, the LNA has intensified attacks on civilian infrastructure and civilians, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said. The statement notes that as a result of the attack of the Haftar army on the center of Tripoli, civilians were killed and injured on May 9, while the Turkish embassy and other civilian infrastructure could be hit.
In this regard, the Turkish side announced its readiness to return fire at the Haftar army if the threat to Turkish diplomatic missions and Turkish interests in Libya continues.
