Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro congratulated Vladimir Putin and the Russian people on the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
“I join the 75th anniversary of the victorious end of World War II against Nazi Germany, welcoming our brother Vladimir Putin and the Russian people,” he wrote on his Twitter.
The leader of Venezuela emphasized that the victory over Germany demonstrated “the determination of the people to live in a world free from all forms of imperial domination.”
