Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu exchanged congratulations during a telephone conversation on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, the Kremlin press service said.
It is noted that the conversation took place at the initiative of the Israeli side.
“Vladimir Putin and Benjamin Netanyahu exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, which is officially celebrated in Israel on May 9. The Russian President conveyed health and well-being wishes to veterans of the Great Patriotic War living in this country”, – the statement said.
