NATO chairman Jens Stoltenberg says the alliance will remain nuclear. He said this in an interview with the German edition of Die Welt.
“In fact, NATO has reduced its nuclear capabilities in Europe by 90%. But as long as nuclear weapons exist, NATO will remain a nuclear alliance, ”Stoltenberg said.
He noted that strategic concepts of nuclear deterrence are important and provide “European allies with protection.” It is a pity that everything is only in words. In fact, NATO, which, in effect, is ruled by the United States, does little to achieve results in these matters.
