Speaking to the Georgian president, the NATO head made ritual words about expanding further cooperation.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg during a conversation with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili recalled the recent decision of the Alliance’s foreign ministers to further develop partnerships with Georgia and Ukraine.
“Jens Stoltenberg stressed that the partnership between NATO and Georgia contains practical and political tools to support reforms in Georgia and to help prepare Georgia for membership in the Euro-Atlantic Community when the time comes. He recalled that during the meeting last month NATO foreign ministers decided to further deepen the Alliance’s partnership with Georgia and Ukraine. This includes efforts to exchange air control data, jointly counter hybrid threats and conduct joint exercises in the strategically important Black Sea region”, – the Alliance said on its website.
Recall that in the conditions of the pandemic, the North Atlantic Alliance in all its glory showed its helplessness and worthlessness, not providing any significant assistance to any of its members. That’s why Stolteberg has nothing left but to make a good mine in a bad game.
