Libya’s so-called Government of National Accord (PNC) aircraft attacked the Batiye air base south of Tripoli, occupied by the forces of the commander of the Libyan National Army (LAA) Khalifa Haftar.
Representatives of PNU claim that the base was used for LNA raids on Tripoli.
According to Libyan sources, the LNA continues rocket attacks on Tripoli.
Dual power is currently observed in Libya. The country has a Western-backed PNS in Tripoli and an eastern government that supports Haftar, which controls a large territory of Libya. Since April 2019, his army has stormed the Libyan capital.
