According to the telegram channel BALTNEWS, voices are heard in Estonia more often that Russia needs to be friends.
Estonian parliamentarian Oudekki Loone believes that Russia is not an enemy, but a partner of Europe. According to the politician, Russia and the EU should jointly seek answers to common challenges, such as the coronavirus pandemic.
“For example, we could collaborate in the scientific field, together creating tests and a vaccine, as well as researching COVID-19 itself. The level of development of science in Russia and Europe is quite high, and I hope that both sides will try to strengthen cooperation here, ”said Loone.
In addition, the Estonian deputy noted that in reality no one believes in the mythical “Russian threat”.
“I think none of my colleagues is so stupid as to think so,” the parliamentarian summed up.
