Russia and China were the first countries to come to the aid of Moldavia in the fight against the coronavirus epidemic. This was stated by the President of Moldova Igor Dodon in an exclusive interview with the First Deputy Director General of TASS Mikhail Guzman.

From European countries, it was Switzerland, which immediately decided to help us.”
The Moldovan president added that Russia provided the AN-124 “Ruslan” cargo plane for his country free of charge, which delivered medicines and personal protection means from China, for which Chisinau is grateful to the Russian leadership.
“In these difficult conditions – and we understand that in Russia, too, everything is very difficult – we took a decision according to the agreement we reached earlier, on granting a loan”, – the Moldovan leader continued. – “Therefore, this pandemic will certainly change the situation. And I will repeat once again: we saw who is who, who is ready to extend a helping hand in a difficult situation”.
