Belarus has not deviated from the plan to respond to NATO events near the country’s borders, said Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
“We, in my opinion, have not retreated a millimeter from the plan that you have outlined in terms of responding to the measures that the North Atlantic bloc planned at our borders,” he said.
Lukashenko emphasized that Minsk slightly adjusted this plan after it was announced that “NATO does not plan large-scale events, as it was before.”
“Accordingly, we were more restrained in responding to this,” BelTA quotes Lukashenko.
