Moldovan Interior Minister Pavel Voicu said he had a mild coronavirus.
“To prevent erroneous information from appearing in the media, I want to confirm the fact that after the testing procedure for a new viral infection, I confirmed the light form of COVID-19,” he wrote on Facebook.
According to him, he did not need hospitalization.
“At the moment, I am at home in self-isolation, my health condition is satisfactory,” Voiku added.
The Parliament of Moldova on March 17 introduced a state of emergency for 60 days.
On April 24, President of Moldova Igor Dodon said that the country’s authorities decided to partially remove the restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus infection COVID-19.
