Kim Jong-un appeared in public

On Saturday, May 2, reports the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea.

According to the media, “the top leader, Comrade Kim Jong-un, personally cut the tape, marking the completion of construction.” The ceremony itself, according to the agency, took place on May 1 – it was timed to the international holiday of workers, which is customary to celebrate on a large scale in the DPRK.

Thus, Kim Jong-un appeared in public for the first time in twenty days, dispelling the rumors of the Western media that reported a possible serious illness for the North Korean leader. Such information began to be disseminated amid the fact that Kim Jong-un’s public activity ceased after a meeting of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Labor Party of Korea on April 11.
