Moldovan lobbyists of fugitive oligarchs bought another deputy

Fondly recalling how Moldova “changed for the better” during the reign of the now-fledged oligarch Vladimir Plahotniuc, MP Ruxanda Glavan fled from the Democratic Party.

Having left the majority party, Glavan joined the Pro Moldova group, receiving financial rewards for this. However, on the social network, the deputy claims that the decision was not connected with money at all, but with nostalgia for the times when the democrats were headed by Vladimir Plahotniuc, a scandalous oligarch hiding from justice.

“I joined the Democratic Party in 2010, because I believed in the values promoted by it, even though it was not the main violin of the government. In that team I met great professionals who were faithful to ideas who wanted to make a difference for the better”, – Glavan says.

The deputy group “Pro Moldova” has appeared recently. It included former members of the Democratic Party, which has now created a parliamentary majority with the socialists. According to reports, Pro Moldova is financed by elites who have fled the country and involved in financial fraud. In particular, from 150 to 250 thousand euros were paid to every deserter democrat.
