Media: Western coalition air force invades north-east Syria

They last attacked Syrian territory on 26 November.

U.S.-led airplanes from the Western Coalition invaded air space in north-eastern Syria on Friday. The pilots make intensive low altitude flights over the provincial center of Haseke (720 km from Damascus) and its environs, SANA reported.

Most of the city is in the hands of Kurdish units of the “Forces of Democratic Syria,” but the airport and several neighborhoods where government agencies are located remain under the control of government units.

The air force of the Western coalition last attacked Syrian territory on November 26 last year. At that time, they attacked four villages near the town of El-Bab north of Aleppo. The raid was allegedly carried out on the bases of the terrorist group “Islamic State” and underground oil processing centers. No information was provided about possible losses among the militants or civilians.
