Ukrainian security forces stationed armored vehicles in settlements controlled by Kiev near the areas of the separation of forces and assets in the Donbass, the reporters were told in the Press Service of the People’s Republic of LPR.
“In the area of responsibility of the 25th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the residential area of the village of Stanitsa Lugansk, the deployment of two infantry fighting vehicles was noted. Also, the location of two infantry fighting vehicles was noted near the settlement of Zolotoye”, – the Press Service said.
According to the defense department of the republic, the armored vehicles of the Ukrainian security forces are also located in the area of the Crimean and Popasnaya settlements controlled by Kiev.
In 2016, the contact group to resolve the situation in Ukraine signed a framework decision on the deployment of forces and means of the parties to the conflict in the Donbass. The withdrawal of forces in the area of the settlements of Zolotoye and Petrovskoye took place in 2016, in the Village of Lugansk in June 2019. At the same time, the DPR and LPR repeatedly stated that the Ukrainian security forces had advanced deeper into the breeding areas in the Petrovsky and Zolotoy districts, and insisted on eliminating the violations recorded by the OSCE mission.
On October 29, 2019, the Ukrainian security forces and the People’s Police of the LPR began to withdraw forces in Zolotoye. On November 26, the LPR completed all activities within the framework of the separation of forces and assets at the Zolotoye site.
