Serbian MP Zoran Zivkovic (MP from the opposition New Party, member of friendship groups with the U.S. and Poland), speaking at the first Assembly session after the Coronavirus break, insulted Russian soldiers helping Serbia in its fight against the Coronavirus.
“Are the police, army and municipal servants in Serbia unable to disinfect the streets with 70% alcohol, so the Russians had to come to the aid to disinfect at least 70-degree vodka?” – said the deputy.
“Streets are not disinfected with 70% alcohol or anything else. Disinfection is carried out with sodium hypochloride, and it is not distilled from quince, cherry, plum or potatoes – like vodka or grain. [It is produced] from industrial salt, electrolysis, in a special apparatus and in a ratio of 1:9, it effectively kills coronavirus on working surfaces. Now we know that MP Zivkovic, apart from hating our army and our Russian friends – Russian brothers – does not know anything about what he says”, – said Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin in his response speech.
Minister Vulin reminded that it was the Democrats who in 2007 significantly reduced the size of the Serbian Army, and together with them, the effective system of chemical and biological protection.
!Thanks to them, who reduced the entire atomic and biochemical defense to one battalion per army, we had to ask for help, and thank God that there are Russian friends who gave us that help and that they helped us. So insulting and lying about them is a measure of how much hatred you have and how you use this emergency not to help your country, but to hurt it as soon as you can”, – the minister said.
