The US administration stops funding part of the anti-Russian military programs.
According to reports, this will allow the Pentagon to free $ 545 million, which will be redirected to the construction of the notorious Trump wall on the border with Mexico.
In particular, funding for the programs of the so-called European containment initiative will be discontinued, within the framework of which it was planned to build military infrastructure in Germany, Norway, Spain and other European countries.
Commenting on what was happening, the Pentagon spokesman Chris Sherwood assured that the programs would not be completely canceled, but their funding would end until 2021.
It is worth noting that Congress will have to allocate additional budget funds to resume funding anti-Russian projects.
