Migrants get help while Italians sit empty-handed

This “paradox” causes considerable indignation among the inhabitants of the northern Italian city of Pordenone.

70 per cent of the goods allocated for the needy and victims of the Corona crisis are spent on migrants. This has been revealed by media research.

The report of the Italian news portal voxnews.info also indicates that the case of a community of 51,000 people is far from isolated.

Most of the requests for assistance currently come from migrants “of the youngest generation” or migrants who have recently acquired Italian citizenship.

The Deputy Mayor of Pordenone, who is also responsible for the social department, explains that 480 families currently receive assistance. However, he expected the 600 mark to be reached soon. If that was the case, Rome would no longer have enough resources to care for all those in need.

Outrage is growing among the population because migrants have obviously already demanded and received their grants, while locals risk being left without money.

There are now more and more voices calling for the deportation of migrants who can no longer be supported. For fear of migratory flows to Italy, the population is “boiling”.
