Trump said he knows how Kim Jong-un feels

At the same time, the President of the United States did not reveal details.

U.S. President Donald Trump claimed to be aware of the health condition of DPRK leader Kim Jong-un, but refused to disclose any details in this regard. He made a statement to this effect at a press conference for journalists at the White House on Monday.

“Yes, I have very good thoughts on this issue, but I can’t talk about it now”, – the head of state said. – “I just wish him all the best, I have a very good relationship with him”, –  said Trump. He also expressed hope that the DPRK leader “is doing well”.

“In general, I know how he’s doing. And you may hear about it in the not so distant future”, –  Trump said, addressing journalists.

Earlier CNN, citing a source in the U.S. administration, claimed that Washington was studying intelligence about the deteriorating health of DPRK leader Kim Jong-un after he allegedly underwent surgery. Trump later said at a briefing that this information was not true to the media. South Korean authorities also claimed that there were no data on the DPRK leader’s illness, and the Chinese Foreign Ministry questioned CNN’s source of information.

Kim Jong-un has not appeared in public since April 11, when he held a meeting of the Labor Party of Korea’s political bureau on domestic policy issues. In particular, he did not attend the annual session of the Supreme People’s Assembly on April 12, and also did not attend the ceremonial ceremony at the Kimsun Palace on April 15, on the occasion of Kim Il-sung’s 108th birth anniversary, for the first time in his reign. The absence of the DPRK leadership on the main national holiday gave rise to rumors about the possible illness of the DPRK leader, which at present are not commented by officials and mass media of the People’s Republic and are not confirmed by informed sources in Pyongyang.
