Trump categorically rejected the postponement of the elections from 3 November

According to the President of the United States, he never even thought about it.

U.S. President Donald Trump categorically rejected the possibility of postponing the presidential election from November 3, calling such speculations propaganda. Journalists at a briefing in the White House on Monday asked Trump to comment on the alleged statements made by the alleged presidential candidate of the Democratic Party, Joseph Biden, about possible attempts of the head of state to postpone the vote.

“I never even thought about changing the election date. Why should I do that? – said Trump at a White House briefing on Monday. – November 3rd is a great date. <…> It’s not a propaganda made by him [Biden], but by people who write short statements.”

“Biden did not make such statements, but someone else did. They claim Biden did it, let him know”, – said the U.S. chief of staff.

CBS journalist Bo Erickson, who works for Biden’s press pool, claimed April 23 that he had stated at an online meeting with his supporters about possible attempts by Trump to postpone the election.

At the same time, the American leader himself repeatedly stated that the general elections in the country will be held, as planned, on November 3, despite the pandemic. Trump’s option of voting by mail was strongly criticized.a
