“We are deeply concerned about the United Nations Human Rights Council report that 1,500 migrants are at risk in overcrowded and unsanitary US detention facilities”, – it said.
“The U.S. regime must be held accountable for the mistreatment of these migrants. They are not criminals. Let them go”, – the Foreign Ministry said.
According to Iranian diplomats, the U.S. is now one of the countries with the highest prevalence of COVID-19 in the world, where more than 56,000 people have died of this disease.
