Nine employees of the Kharkov military hospital were infected with coronavirus.
This was announced by the head of the Military Medical Center of the Northern Region Yuriy Podolyan on the air of the 112 Ukraine TV channel.
According to him, the outbreak was recorded last Sunday. The disease in the infected is asymptomatic.
“Information was received from the laboratory that 9 employees of our hospital are positive for coronavirus. In laboratory tests, an error may occur due to equipment, possibly the environment, ” the official said, adding that it is planned to retest.
At the same time, COVID-19 was detected in five patients of the hospital, three of whom were military personnel, and two were military pensioners who were hospitalized with pneumonia.
