Economist Roman Kirke commented on the situation around the loan provided by Russia and its significance for the republic.
Sputnik Moldova interview, Roman Kirke said that Russian credit is extremely important for Moldova, and the conditions under which the Russian Federation is ready to provide these funds are very beneficial for Moldova, and the problem is in ideological games.
“This topic has moved into the ideological field, and it is sad. Ideological orientation and Russian credit have nothing in common. The Republic of Moldova is in rather big uncertainty from the point of view of financing the state budget, ” says the economist.
In addition, Kirke notes that the procedure or conditions under which the Russian side decided to provide this loan to the Republic of Moldova is very beneficial to the country.
“This loan of 200 million euros is 2 percent of GDP. This agreement was signed very quickly, without specific obligations, which is very beneficial for the Republic of Moldova, ” the expert added.
