Bosnian Serb leader rewards Russian military for help with COVID-19

The President of the Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina (RS BiH) Zeljka Tsviyanovich awarded the Russian military for their support in the fight against coronavirus.

On April 9-10, the Russian military was delivered to Banja Luka, after an appeal from the republic’s leadership. On Thursday, RS BiH Minister of Health Dr. Alain Sheranich called “exclusively professional and effective” the help of military specialists from Russia.

“President Tsviyanovich awarded the medal for services to the people of the commander of the Russian Armed Forces, Colonel Maxim Sologubov, for his exceptional contribution and support in providing medical assistance in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and for strengthening cooperation between Russia and the Republika Srpska”, – the Tsviyanovich administration said.

A group of Russian specialists was given 23 gratitude “Emblems of the Republika Srpska” as an expression of “unlimited gratitude, respect and support”.
