Mike Pompeo: U.S. might never return to WHO, bolder change may be needed

The United States Secretary of State believes that all WHO leadership needs to be completely changed.

That’s an interesting position. First, America becomes a leader in terms of disease and death rates, then cuts funding for WHO, an organization that at this historic stage is closely involved in the pandemic, and what happens next? What is the White House leadership up to, and what is it silent about?

On Fox News, in response to a question from a journalist, Mike says, –  “This is not the first time that WHO has failed to cope with a pandemic and is not doing everything possible to stop it.”

Funny coincidence. Is it worth remembering the numerous protests in the states where people, doctors and researchers revolted on Trump, as he, in fact, also “doesn’t cope with the pandemic, doesn’t do everything possible” and moreover, because of his stupid and arrogant decisions, the situation has only deteriorated?

The U.S. president has repeatedly criticized the WHO leadership, arguing that the measures taken by the organization to combat the spread of the new coronavirus were wrong. And your methods, particularly denial, are correct?

The point is, the White House administration was literally offended by the organization. As early as April 7, Trump tweeted, saying:

Well, Mr Trump, if you believe that the disease should not be studied from patient zero and treated as those who defeated the pandemic have done, then you have the flag in your hands. The important thing is that this flag does not end up on your coffin.
