Afghanistan has asked Russia to help fight the coronavirus.
It was reported by RIA Novosti citing the Russian ambassador in Kabul, Alexander Mantytsky.
“A similar request for assistance was received through inter-parliamentary cooperation from the Chairman of the Upper House of the IRA Parliament (Fazlia Hadi, – Ed.) Muslimyar. At present, the appeal has been forwarded to Moscow and is being studied by the relevant departments”, – he said.
The number of those infected with the coronavirus in Afghanistan has reached 1,092 and 36 have died, he said.
Earlier Radio Sputnik reported that the Russian military conducted disinfection in three cities of Serbia.ы
