Polish police found an arsenal of weapons belonging to a Ukrainian general

In Poland, the police detained a Ukrainian “general”. At least that’s what a man who was detained in Poznan said.

 


The incident was reported to the press service of the Polish police.

They found 27 copies of weapons at his house, a third of which was combat. The rest, including grenades, were well-made copies. In addition, he was found to have information signs in Ukrainian with inscriptions on the need to keep weapons clean.

 

The man was wearing a Ukrainian military uniform with emblems of the National Guard of Ukraine and chevrons of Ukrainian flags during his detention.

He stated that he was engaged in collecting. At the same time, he was obliged to register some of the weapons, and some had no right to keep them at home.
The police charged the man with illegal possession of the weapons and mockery of his family members. He has been detained for three months, but faces up to eight years in prison.
