Since the beginning of the field hospital in Italian Bergamo, Russian and Italian doctors have cured 29 patients from coronavirus infection. All of them have been discharged from the hospital, reports the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The hospital admitted 70 people for treatment, while currently there are 41 patients. Patients with severe form of pneumonia caused by the virus are provided with intensive medical care, recovering and patients with mild form are treated in the therapeutic department.
“All Russian military specialists are aimed at achieving maximum results. The main task is to help our Italian colleagues as much as possible”, – says Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Yumanov, head of the military doctor’s team.
In addition, Russian military specialists together with servicemen of the RKhBZ unit of the Italian Armed Forces protection carried out disinfection in houses for elderly people in two boarding houses of the cities of Clouzone and Gadzanig.
Mobile aerosol disinfection complexes and car filling stations are used daily in anti-epidemic measures.
