Pentagon decides to remove B-52 from base in the Pacific Ocean

The United States relocated B-52 strategic bombers. Instead of the island of Guam in the Pacific, they are now based in North Dakota.

This was reported by the Japanese newspaper Sankei with reference to the command of the US Air Force.

The edition explained this decision by saying that Washington thus “is trying to get the planes out of China’s potential strike and use them more flexibly”. In short, the Pentagon is once again hit with paranoia.
