Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with a colleague from Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, the Kremlin’s press service reports.
The Venezuelan leader expressed his gratitude to his colleague from the Russian Federation for the assistance provided by the Russian side in the fight against a new coronavirus infection, including the supply of test systems.
“Issues related to the fight against the spread of the coronavirus pandemic were discussed. Nicolas Maduro expressed appreciation for the assistance provided by the Russian side, including the supply of test systems”, – the report said.
It is emphasized that the conversation took place on the initiative of the Venezuelan side.
