For the third consecutive Saturday, an action is held in Berlin under the slogan “Wir sind das Volk!” (We are people!). The organizers of the action are activists of anti-war public organizations in Germany and journalists. One of them is the German journalist Ken Yebsen. Today he was not present at the rally, perhaps the reason for his detention last Saturday by the police.
Today’s action began peacefully, the participants approached singly and in groups. Police officers, from the first minutes of the rally, already had an impressive number. The first half hour everything went quietly and peacefully. People appeared with placards, but the Berlin police did not respond to them, like those who were sitting on the lawns.
Toward the end of the first hour, the situation began to heat up. The first detainees appeared. When the detainees were escorted by the protesters, there was a whistle and cries of discontent, people waved the book “The Basic Law of Germany”.
“The protesters are demanding an explanation of what they are hiding under the“ mask of COVID-19 ″? ”, One of the protesters explained.
