The report notes that the currency was intended for a “revolution”, which the opposition has repeatedly hinted at.
Customs officers found the money in bags. The incident occurred at the Leuseni post. The case is being investigated by the prosecution for organized crime.
The situation was commented on by MP Bogdan Tsyrdya, who called this smuggling a kind of “greetings from Miami.”
