Igor Dodon, President of Moldova, called Russia’s assistance in the form of a loan of 200 million euros the first tangible help in the context of the coronavirus.
“This is the first concrete financial assistance that our country receives from foreign partners during the crisis. The funds received will be directed to the state budget of Moldova for the needs of the country, including the financing of infrastructure projects, ” he said.
Dodon thanked the Russian leader Vladimir Putin for the assistance provided by the Russian Federation to Moldova.
