The British Ambassador in Moscow thanked the Russian Foreign Ministry for helping the British return to their homeland

Aeroflot’s flight from Moscow to London will take place on April 18.

British Ambassador to Moscow Deborah Bronnert expressed gratitude to the Russian Foreign Ministry and Aeroflot for helping the British return home from Russia.

“Thanks to the Russian Foreign Ministry and Aeroflot for facilitating the return of 19 more British citizens to their homeland”, –  the diplomat wrote on her Twitter page.

Earlier, the British Embassy reported that the flight of “Aeroflot” from Moscow to London will be held on April 18.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Russia has completely closed regular and charter international flights since March 27, and the carriers could only perform special flights to return passengers home. Later the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation informed that due to the coronavirus spreading the Ministry prolongs the term of stay in the country for all foreigners being in Russia.
