Putin and Macron discussed the possibility of a videoconference consisting of the leaders of the permanent members of the UN Security Council (Russia, France, Great Britain, China and the USA). The need for a meeting may be caused by the global campaign to “dispossess” of China launched this week by the United States.
Russia probably would not want Macron to help the “anti-Chinese coalition” form a majority in the UN Security Council.
Moreover, the format of the “big nuclear five” was chosen so as not to increase the potential anti-Chinese majority – which would be formed by the United States in the G20 format.
