The British Foreign Secretary promised Beijing “difficult issues” on London after the pandemic

“After the crisis, things are not going to be the way they used to be”, –  Dominique Raab said, referring to relations with China in connection with the spread of the virus.

Thorough analysis of the coronavirus outbreak and whether it could have been prevented should be carried out after the pandemic. This was announced on Thursday by the British Foreign Secretary, Dominique Raab.

“A thorough analysis of these lessons, including the beginning [of the spread] of the virus, is absolutely necessary post facto. It must be based on scientific knowledge”, –  Reuters quotes the minister as saying.

“Undoubtedly, things are not going to be the same after the crisis. And we will have to ask difficult questions about where it [the virus] came from and how it could have been stopped earlier”, – Raab said in response to a question about relations with China over the Coronavirus.

Allegations of Chinese involvement in the spread of coronavirus have previously been made by the United States. In March, U.S. Ambassador to the UK Woody Johnson accused the Chinese authorities of concealing information about the coronavirus, which, in his opinion, posed a huge threat to the whole world. In response to the accusations, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that China has always maintained an open and responsible position regarding the publication of data on the Coronavirus epidemic.

The American press on Wednesday suggested that the so-called zero patient was an employee of a biological laboratory in Wuhan, where virus research was conducted. US President Donald Trump at a Wednesday briefing neither confirmed nor denied this information, but promised to study it thoroughly.
