Russia, apparently due to coronavirus, will need mechanical ventilation apparatus (IVL), and the United States will help it if necessary, US President Donald Trump said at a briefing.
“I think that Russia will need mechanical ventilation – they have a difficult situation in Moscow, we will help them,” he said, recalling that the United States has yet to establish mass production of mechanical ventilation.
He noted that the United States will also be ready to provide assistance to Italy, Spain, France and other countries in need of mechanical ventilation.
In Russia, more than 24 thousand cases of coronavirus infection and 198 deaths of infected patients have been recorded. The United States remains the leader in the number of cases: more than 610 thousand.
In early April, Russia sent a humanitarian aid to the United States with medical masks and medical equipment.
