The European Parliament is considering the possibility of conducting an operation to reach the border between the People’s Republics of Donbass and Russia.

The European Union threatens intervention in the republic of Donbass

This is stated in the draft report of the European Parliament, which leads Radio Liberty.

The document says that Russia allegedly “violates the fundamental principles and norms of international law.”

Moreover, they try to blame it on “the use of force and destabilization” in the Donbass.

In this regard, the authors of the initiative propose the formation of the so-called “expanded international peacekeeping forces” in order to control the border between the Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics and the Russian Federation. The operation will be controlled directly from Brussels.

The document is currently under consideration by the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament. Presumably, it will be agreed as early as next month.
