Oppositionists will fight with each other, not with Dodon: Journalist appreciated the prospects of the Moldovan elections

This was told by journalist Valery Demidetsky in a commentary to the eNews publication.

According to him, it is now difficult to judge who will win the presidential election. At the same time, he expressed confidence that the struggle would be serious, not only between the opposition and Igor Dodon, but also between the opposition themselves.

“Maya Sandu and Andrei Nastase play on the same field, they have one electorate. They are competitors, but not allies, ” says Demidetsky.

He emphasized that supporters of the anti-Russian and pro-Western course, that is, Sandu and Nastase adherents, would no longer vote for incumbent President Igor Dodon. At the same time, supporters of Dodon will not cast their ballots for the protégés of the West.

The journalist considers the attempt of Western structures to unite Nastase and Sandu doubtful. Although, the latter has a higher level of support, Nastase is unlikely to give up, stated Demidetsky.
