Military medics from Russia have advised colleagues in Serbia

 

 

The management and specialists of the Military Academy of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia were consulted by Russian military medics.

A reception centre for patients infected with coronavirus is currently being deployed at the academy. Russian epidemiologists have given recommendations on the organization of reception and sorting of incoming patients, compliance with the antiepidemiological regime and nutrition.

Similar COVID centres are also beginning to be deployed in other cities in Serbia. In this regard, Russian specialists have checked the readiness to receive patients at the center in the sports hall of the Nis city educational institution, where hospital beds have been installed, medical equipment and medicines have been brought in, and the medical staff has received the necessary training.

In addition, Russian specialists of the Republican Clinical Hospital continue disinfecting medical institutions. Within a day, 12 facilities have been treated. The epidemiological situation in the medical centres of Panchevo and Subotica has been assessed. Two medical and nursing teams took part in the examination and treatment of patients with COVID-19 in Leskovac Hospital and the Nis Clinical Centre. A total of 28 patients were admitted.

The Russian consolidated team operating in the Republic of Serbia has carried out a complex of disinfection activities at 35 sites in eight towns in the Republic of Serbia. Military medics have examined and participated in the treatment of 294 patients infected with COVID-19.
