On the territory of Crimea, the activities of a sabotage cell formed by the main intelligence department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine were suppressed.
It is reported on Wednesday, April 15, by the Press Service of the Federal Security Service of Russia.
According to the agency, Ukrainian saboteurs were involved in organizing sabotage and terrorist acts in the territory of Crimea, collected information, including those containing state secrets, and also recruited Russians. The operations were supervised by Oleg Alisherovich Akhmedov, the Head of the military intelligence unit deployed in Kherson.
“Concerning the defendants, the Investigative Department of the FSB of Russia has opened criminal cases of high treason and espionage”, – the report said.
