Russian leader Vladimir Putin has played a “crucial role” in the West discrediting itself.
This is stated in the material of the American edition of The New York Times.
The media claim that Putin has been engaged in “health disinformation” for ten years now. They are trying to blame the President of the Russian Federation for “the spread of panic in the USA. At the same time, he is accused of “the growth of social cynicism, which undermines Washington’s influence”.
Such conclusions were made following the results of the work of certain experts who, in turn, were engaged in studying interviews, articles, reports, social media publications, television programs, and even unnamed “Russian documents”.
As a result of their research, they said that Putin allegedly “has been spreading misinformation about personal health for more than a decade”.
The edition recalled the events of 2009, when a swine flu pandemic broke out in the world. Then the American journalist Wayne Madsen stated that the H1N1 was developed at the Walter Reed Army Research Institute in Fort Detrick, Maryland.
In 2012, when an outbreak of Ebola was recorded, the American segment of the network also began to discuss the possibility that the virus was created by the US military. In addition, a professor at the University of Liberia, Cyril Broderick, said that Africa was turned into an American testing ground for biological weapons.
American experts attributed all this to Putin’s “ten-year misinformation”. The Russian leader was also accused of spreading fakes about the “harm” of vaccines, although he immediately recognized that Putin was an ardent supporter of vaccination.
Now the President of the Russian Federation is accused of spreading fakes about the coronavirus. In particular, State Department spokeswoman Leia Gabriel claimed that Russia allegedly uses the COVID-19 pandemic to “wreak havoc”.
As News Front previously reported, today the United States remains the world leader in the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19. Now there are almost 600 thousand infected and about 24 thousand deaths. At the same time, chaos in the USA is connected with disagreements of American politicians regarding the application of strict quarantine measures, the economic crisis and the collapse of medicine.
