Saxony has tightened measures as much as possible: all citizens who do not comply with the regime will be detained.
It is assumed that they will be placed in psychiatric clinics, where almost two dozen chambers were freed for these purposes, where citizens will also be guarded by the police.
According to media reports, Petra Kopping, the Minister of Social Welfare (SPD), said: “For our health and life, it is important that people adhere to quarantine measures taken by health authorities.”
And further: “In some cases, if people resist orders, it is necessary (…) to apply the measures prescribed by the health authorities. It is also possible to place these people in closed parts of the hospital by court order. ”
According to media reports, several thousand people were sent for home quarantine in Saxony, including 3,300 in Dresden and 2,100 in Leipzig.
