First they set fire to the towel dispenser. The fire department aired the building, which all 270 residents had to leave during the mission. To prevent the movement of quarantined residents, police surrounded the area. Riots began and reinforcements were called.

During the operation, police officers were insulted by “security seekers” who spat and threw glass bottles.

Shortly after midnight, another fire alarm went off. The fire department again aired the building, residents had to go outside again.

The consequences of this operation are fatal: Marzahn-Hellersdorf County medical officer ordered immediate quarantine for 60 government officials involved.

For the rebels, the rebellion paid off: they were allowed to move to another room the next day.
